Established in 1929 in Paris, France, by Czech immigrant Ota Polacek, the brand quickly became known for its innovative fragrances and luxurious Art Deco-inspired bottles. After a period of dormancy, it was rediscovered and revived by Luc Gabriel in 2016, officially relaunching in January 2022, with a commitment to blending its rich heritage with contemporary perfumery.
