Black Lilac

The note of Black Lilac emerges with an initial burst that is simultaneously familiar yet profoundly mysterious. It carries the quintessential heady, almost narcotic sweetness of classic lilac, but deepened, as if viewed through a twilight filter. There's a rich, velvety texture to it, less powdery than traditional lilac and more akin to crushed petals stained with midnight ink. Hints of dark berries, perhaps blackcurrant or even a touch of prune, intertwine with the floral heart, lending a jammy, brooding undertone. A subtle spiciness, perhaps clove or black pepper, flickers at the edges, preventing it from becoming overly sweet, while a whisper of greenness, like a snapped stem, keeps it vibrant. It possesses a moderate to strong projection, initially expansive, then settling into a captivating aura that clings to the skin with impressive longevity, evolving from a prominent heart note into a subtly musky, almost leathery floral echo in the base.
