There's an unmistakable rooty, almost slightly rubbery undertone, but uniquely, Haitian Vetiver often possesses a brighter, more refined character compared to its counterparts, occasionally hinting at a sparkling grapefruit-like zest or a green, slightly bitter cut-grass aroma in its initial burst. As it settles, it unveils nuances of hazelnut or roasted grain, a certain nuttiness that adds warmth and complexity. Its texture is dry and somewhat rugged, yet paradoxically smooth and velvety in the deep drydown. Projection is moderate to strong initially, softening to a tenacious, intimate hum that clings to the skin with remarkable longevity, easily performing as a foundational base note, imparting structure and a sophisticated dryness to a composition.
