White Pine

The note of white pine is a veritable forest whispered into existence. It opens with an immediate, piercing freshness, keenly aromatic and bracing, akin to drawing a deep breath of crisp, cold air in a pristine coniferous woodland. There's a pronounced green facet, sharp and almost needle-like, coupled with a distinct resinous undertone that adds depth without becoming overly heavy. It possesses a clean, somewhat camphorous quality, invigorating and clarifying, often carrying a subtle, almost citrusy zest or a whisper of cool mint in its initial projection. As it evolves, the sharper, more ethereal top notes soften, revealing a dry, woody heart that is steadfast and grounding. Its texture is airy yet substantial, never oily or cloying. Projection is typically moderate to strong initially, settling into a comforting, persistent longevity, performing admirably as a robust top-to-mid note, capable of extending the vitality of citrus and herbal accords while lending an architectural backbone to the heart.
